The Seattle area weather is usually beautiful in the Summer months and lots of grey from November to March. Our view is always a changing landscape of the water, mountain views and the weather so it really doesn't matter what the season it is as far as we are concerned. We might have fog in the morning that burns off later with beautiful deep blue water followed by some clouds in the evening which make for a beautiful sunset. Seattle gets less rain than most cities because it is a drizzle rather than a downpour. Most of us don't need umbrellas in the winter except for a few days of hard rain. We don't get much snow either because of the impact of the Puget Sound. Seattle winters are usually mild with temperatures around 40 degrees. Summers in Seattle are usually around 75 degrees with the occasional few hot days approaching 90 degrees. We are an hour from the Mountains for winter skiing and two hours from the Ocean on the Pacific Coast. The Puget Sound is 600 feet deep and around 48 degrees year around with a tidal movement of 7 to 13 feet. Eagle's View B&B sits 400 feet above it with a beautiful public beach below us and public hiking trails down the street for easy access to the park trails.
