October with fog burn off - Can you see the tug boat in the early morning fog?
Olympic Mountains zoomed in a bit! Bring your binoculars for bird watching or borrow our telescope to check out all the sites.
Lodging in a hotel in Seattle can be fun, and you will definitely be in the center of all the activity, but if you have never stayed here at Eagle's View Bed and Breakfast there are many differences. As a pilot for a major airline, I have spent years of my life in hotels and have had many experiences with the noise associated with them. You will not be disturbed by sirens, motorcycles, or trucks going by outside your window. You won't hear any noisy vending machines, late check-ins, lounge music, shouting in the halls, elevators, vacuum cleaners, or noise from the room next door. We are located deep in Seahurst Park at the end of the road in a cul-de-sac a mile from any busy streets. You will probably hear the waves lapping on the shore below if you leave your bedroom windows open.
Enjoy the active shipping lane right out your window.
August Sunsets are just off the Ferry dock on Vashon Island.
If you travel on business this is a fantastic environment for you to relax and recharge. We have wifi access on the deck and both wifi and hard wired internet access in your room. You can elect the no breakfast option for an additional 30 dollars per night savings and stock your refrigerator with things you like. Check the specials tab. We have a fax machine, printer and laptop available for your use.
Sunset in June
November with fresh snow on the Mountains
October 12, 2010
The following morning - always beautiful to wake up too!
We rarely get snow in the winter because the Puget Sound is always 48 degrees, but this was an unusual sunset in January of 2010.
This is one of the Eagle's that live in the park that we back up to. The Eagle is sitting on our tree directly behind our house with an "Eagle's View" on our B&B. They are often seen soaring over the ridge line we live on. Teri captured this picture with our little point and shoot camera in April of 2012 and she just found their nest in May of 2013. Come watch them feed their little eaglets from our spotting scope on our deck!
